Julie PSA IMMO OFF Emulator
Citroen. Peugeot. Immo Off.
The dedicated immobiliser solution for Citroen and Peugeot ECUs
The Julie PSA IMMO OFF emulator is a plug and solder immobiliser bypass module for Citroen and Peugeot ECUs. Built for professional locksmiths and ECU repair specialists, it replaces the immobiliser signal across more than thirty Bosch, Delphi, Siemens, Valeo, Sagem, Magneti Marelli and Continental ECUs using CAN and K-Line communication.

What the Julie PSA emulator does
The Julie PSA emulator replaces the immobiliser dialogue inside Citroen and Peugeot engine control units, allowing an ECU to run without a matched key, BSI or immobiliser box. It is the tool a workshop reaches for when the original immobiliser data is corrupted, when a used ECU needs to be fitted to a different vehicle, or when a donor unit has to be brought back into service quickly. Rather than chasing a virgin ECU or waiting on dealer coding, the emulator lets a qualified technician resolve the immobiliser condition on the bench and return a running unit.
Mobile Eco Tuning work with immobiliser and ECU repair tools like this every day, both in our UK headquarters workshop and across a network of more than 800 agents, so the guidance here reflects real bench experience rather than a repeat of the vendor sheet.
Coverage across the PSA ECU range
Coverage runs deep across the PSA parc, spanning older Bosch EDC15 and EDC16 diesels, current EDC17 and MD1 generation units, the petrol ME7 family, and the Delphi, Siemens, Valeo, Sagem, Magneti Marelli and Continental control units fitted throughout the Citroen and Peugeot range. Several of the newer platforms, including EDC17C60, MD1, MG1CS032, MG1CS042 and Continental VD56.1, are handled by an automatic procedure that streamlines the write. The emulator additionally covers a group of legacy ECUs built around the TMS374 processor, which keeps older Citroen and Peugeot work within reach on the same device.
Communication and onboard hardware
The module communicates over both CAN bus and K-Line, matching the two networks used across the supported PSA control units, and carries an onboard 24C02 EEPROM that stores the emulation data. That combination is what lets a single small board stand in for the immobiliser handshake the ECU expects at every start, whether the unit is a fifteen year old EDC15 diesel or a recent MD1 platform.
PSA Group focus
Purpose built for Citroen and Peugeot ECUs, with immobiliser data tailored to the PSA platform rather than a generic one size fits all delete.
CAN and K-Line
Talks to the ECU over both CAN bus and K-Line, covering the full spread of networks used across the supported control units.
Broad ECU coverage
Handles Bosch, Delphi, Siemens, Valeo, Sagem, Magneti Marelli and Continental units, from EDC15 diesels through to MD1 and MG1 generation ECUs.
Onboard 24C02 EEPROM
An integrated 24C02 EEPROM holds the emulation data, so the board carries everything it needs to stand in for the factory immobiliser.
Automatic procedures
Newer platforms such as EDC17C60, MD1, MG1CS032, MG1CS042 and Continental VD56.1 are supported by an automatic procedure that speeds up the write.
TMS374 legacy support
A dedicated group of older TMS374 based ECUs is covered as well, keeping vintage Citroen and Peugeot jobs on the same tool.

💡 Mobile Eco Tuning Pro Tip:
On PSA HDi engines a no start with the immobiliser light on is not always an ECU immobiliser fault. A tired BSI, a poor earth, or a failed injector driver can throw the same symptoms. Confirm the immobiliser is genuinely the cause with live data before you commit to an IMMO OFF, because deleting the immobiliser on a car with a different underlying fault will not cure the no start and removes the vehicle security for nothing. Before you fit the emulator, read and archive the original immobiliser on EEPROM dump. Keeping that backup means the unit can be returned to standard later if the car is ever repaired the conventional way.
