JULIE PRO Universal Car Emulator | IMMO OFF and ESL/ELV
Universal. Verified. Proven.
One emulator that solves thousands of immobiliser and steering lock faults
The JULIE PRO is a universal automotive immobiliser and ESL/ELV emulator from CarLabImmo, built for professional locksmiths and ECU repair specialists. It replaces the original immobiliser or steering column lock signal across thousands of CAN and K-Line ECUs, so you can recover vehicles with faulty immo systems, damaged modules, lost keys or engine swaps.

What the JULIE PRO actually does on the bench
There are two ways to defeat a broken immobiliser. You can edit the immo status inside the ECU file, or you can supply the ECU with the response it is waiting for. The JULIE PRO takes the second route. It is a hardware emulator that installs inside the ECU or in place of a failed module and physically answers the immobiliser handshake, so the engine control unit reads a valid authorisation and allows the vehicle to start. As long as the emulator remains installed, the system continues to see a healthy immo signal and runs correctly.
That distinction matters in a working environment. When the original immo box, BSI or key data is damaged beyond recovery, file editing alone can leave you stranded. A physical emulator sidesteps that problem entirely because it recreates the signal rather than relying on data that may no longer exist. This is why the JULIE platform has become the default reach for immobiliser recovery in thousands of workshops.
Immobiliser signal replacement
A faulty immobiliser, a damaged ECU, lost keys or an engine swap all end the same way for the customer, a car that will not start. The JULIE PRO addresses every one of these scenarios. It supports thousands of ECU numbers communicating over CAN or K-Line, replacing the original immobiliser signal so the ECU is satisfied and the engine cranks and runs. For the workshop this turns jobs that would otherwise mean an expensive dealer visit or a full ECU replacement into a bench level repair you can complete in house.
ESL and ELV steering column lock repair
A damaged Electronic Steering Column Lock is one of the most common and most frustrating faults on modern vehicles, and the genuine module is often eye wateringly expensive. The JULIE PRO doubles as an ESL/ELV emulator. Installed in place of the failed steering lock module and set up according to the CarLabImmo instruction manuals, it answers the steering lock handshake so the vehicle no longer flags a lock fault or refuses to start. That is a substantial saving in parts cost and coding time passed straight on to the customer or captured as workshop margin.
Coverage you can actually rely on
Breadth is only useful if the solutions work. CarLabImmo test every solution inside the JULIE PRO at their own headquarters, with verified IMMO OFF routines for Bosch, Continental, Magneti Marelli, Siemens and many other ECU families. Vehicle coverage runs from cars built in the nineties right up to current production models, spanning marques from Volkswagen and Ford through to Ferrari and Lamborghini. Before you commit to a fitment, use the CarLabImmo solution finder to confirm the exact ECU number is listed, so you know the correct programme exists for the car in front of you.
Built for a lifetime under the dashboard
An emulator lives permanently inside a vehicle, exposed to heat, vibration and moisture, so build quality is not a marketing detail, it is the difference between a repair that lasts and a comeback. The JULIE PRO uses an automotive grade microcontroller for stable operation in harsh conditions, and its gold plated solder pads resist oxidation to keep the connections sound for years. Every unit is tested at least three times during production and the materials meet RoHS standards. The onboard 24C02 EEPROM can be programmed externally using the optional 24C02 EEPROM adapter, which removes the need to solder jumpers or unsolder the memory each time you set a solution.
Universal CAN and K-Line coverage
Works with thousands of CAN and K-Line ECUs, so a single emulator covers the vast majority of immobiliser jobs that reach your bench.
Verified IMMO OFF solutions
Tested routines for Bosch, Continental, Magneti Marelli, Siemens and many other ECU families, proven at CarLabImmo headquarters.
ESL and ELV replacement
Doubles as a steering column lock emulator, saving the cost of an expensive genuine module and the coding that comes with it.
Automotive grade MCU
An automotive microcontroller delivers stable performance in the heat, cold and vibration of a permanent in vehicle installation.
Gold plated solder pads
Gold plating resists oxidation and keeps every joint reliable, so the emulator is built to keep working for years after fitment.
Externally programmable EEPROM
Set programmes on the 24C02 EEPROM without soldering when paired with the optional 24C02 adapter, protecting the board from heat stress.

💡 Mobile Eco Tuning Pro Tip:
Before you commit the emulator, confirm whether the vehicle communicates over CAN or K-Line and read out the ECU so you can select the correct JULIE programme for that exact ECU number. Choosing the wrong protocol or solution is the single most common cause of a no start after fitting. Always dump and back up the original EEPROM before any soldering, and where possible use the 24C02 adapter to programme the memory externally. That keeps heat away from the gold pads and lets you re flash the solution in seconds if the first programme is not the right match.
