CarLabImmo Immo Bypass Subscription
Files. Pinouts. Solutions.
The world’s biggest immobiliser and ECU repair database, in your workshop
Immo Bypass is a professional subscription database of tested ECU files, IMMO OFF and virgin solutions, pinouts and step by step procedures for immobiliser repair. Built for auto electricians and ECU specialists, it turns lost key jobs, faulty ECU swaps and immobiliser faults into fast, repeatable fixes backed by expert forum support.

What Immo Bypass actually gives you
Immo Bypass is an online database and toolbox dedicated to engine control units and the immobiliser systems that protect them. Rather than another hardware box gathering dust on the bench, it is a living reference that grows every week, holding original and modified ECU dumps, high resolution component photos, tested pinouts, wiring diagrams and written procedures. When a vehicle lands in your bay with a dead immobiliser, a swapped module or a lost key situation, the answer you need has almost always already been solved, documented and verified by someone before you.
For a working auto electrician, the value is simple. The time you lose is not in the soldering or the reading. It is in the hunting. It is in second guessing which byte holds the immobiliser status, whether the donor ECU can even be adapted, or where the security data sits in memory on an unfamiliar platform. Immo Bypass removes that guesswork. Every solution has been tested and confirmed, so you spend your day on billable work rather than on forum archaeology and trial and error that risks bricking a customer’s ECU.
Here at Mobile Eco Tuning we work with immobiliser and ECU platforms every day across our own UK HQ workshop and our network of over 800 agents. We supply Immo Bypass because it is the reference we trust when a job moves beyond a standard remap into genuine ECU repair territory. It sits naturally alongside the bench programming hardware and cables we already stock, giving your reading and writing kit the file library it needs to be useful.
The five file types explained
Each solution in the database is built from files, and understanding the type you are looking at is half the skill. IMMO OFF files make up the majority of the library and are used to permanently remove the immobiliser signal from an ECU, which is the go to when a faulty immobiliser is stopping an otherwise healthy engine from starting. Virgin and Syncro files clear an ECU back to factory state so a used or donor unit can be adapted to a different vehicle, which is essential when you are fitting a replacement ECU rather than repairing the original. Emulator solutions come with the ready to use files and instructions needed when a physical emulator is the correct fix. Key Writing solutions cover programming key code values into ECU memory, and PIN solutions explain how to calculate the security access code an ECU sometimes demands before it will accept any change.
The Toolbox: live algorithms, not just static files
Where Immo Bypass pulls ahead of a plain file library is the Toolbox. These are hosted algorithms that read and edit your own files rather than relying on you finding an exact match in the database. Upload the FLASH and EEPROM from a VAG ECU and the WFS4, WFS5 and WFS6 calculators and editors will read VIN, CS, MAC and power class values and detect the immo type automatically, across Bosch EDC17, ME17 and MED17 and Continental Simos 18 and PCR2.1. There are dedicated tools for TCUs such as DQ200, DQ250, VL381 and DL501, for the Passat B6 comfort control module, for the Audi BCM2, and a universal IMMO OFF in FLASH function for Bosch families along with an ECU checksum calculator. Several of these calculators are available even on the free demo licence, so you can test the workflow before you commit.
Tested file database
Original and modified dumps for over 18,000 ECUs, every file confirmed working and downloadable with no per file tokens.
Live Toolbox algorithms
Calculators and editors that read and modify your own VAG, TCU, CCM and BCM2 files, with automatic immo type detection and checksum handling.
Pinouts and wiring diagrams
Tens of thousands of tested, easy to read pinouts and component photos so you connect to the board correctly first time.
Step by step procedures
Every solution carries a written description with vehicle and ECU information, so an unfamiliar job becomes a documented process.
File modifications on demand
Active subscribers can request a bespoke file modification on the technical forum, handled directly by CarLabImmo immobiliser experts.
Two seats, all platforms
One PC plus one mobile seat, with dedicated Windows, Android and iOS apps so the database travels from the bench to the vehicle.

💡 Mobile Eco Tuning Pro Tip:
Before you write anything, save the untouched original read and keep it named against the job. When you download the modified dump, run a file comparison against your original so you can confirm that only the immobiliser region has changed and nothing else has been disturbed. Then make sure the checksum is corrected before you write back, because a modified file with a stale checksum is one of the most common reasons an ECU rejects the flash or throws a fault after the job. That original backup is your clean rollback if a solution does not behave as expected, and it is the difference between a five minute retry and a bricked unit.
