The Yanhua Mini ACDP Module 2 is a specialised, solderless hardware extension designed for programming, cloning, and recovering BMW FEM (Front Body Module) and BDC (Body Domain Controller) systems. Utilising advanced contact interface boards, it enables technicians to read and write the underlying 95128 and 95256 EEPROM data safely without desoldering components or lifting fragile MCU pins.
Professional Solder-Free BMW FEM & BDC Integration
On modern BMW F-Chassis architectures, the legacy Car Access System (CAS) was replaced by the highly integrated Front Electronic Module (FEM) and Body Domain Controller (BDC). For automotive locksmiths, control unit cloning specialists, and workshop diagnostics teams, accessing these modules has traditionally been a high-risk operation. Since FEM/BDC systems govern the vehicle’s central gateway, light control, and immobiliser handshake, any error during manual board modification can result in catastrophic module failure.
The Yanhua Mini ACDP Module 2 eliminates physical risks by swapping traditional micro-soldering processes with a clean, mechanical in-circuit programming (ICP) solution. This tool bypasses the need to desolder delicate components, cut PCB tracks, or lift IC feet, letting you carry out critical vehicle configurations safely, swiftly, and reliably.
The Science of Solderless EEPROM ICP (In-Circuit Programming)
To execute keys-add, all-keys-lost, or module alignment, the system must first be pre-processed (pre-treated). In traditional diagnostic setups, this requires physically desoldering the onboard 8-pin serial EEPROM chips—specifically the STMicroelectronics 95128 (found on FEM boards) and the 95256 (found on BDC boards). Subjecting these chips to dual thermal cycles (desoldering and resoldering) invites heat damage, electrostatic discharge (ESD), and pad lifting.
Yanhua’s solution relies on custom-moulded multi-point alignment boards featuring gold-plated, spring-loaded pogo-pins. These custom interface adapters lock onto the exact physical coordinates of the target IC on the board, securing perfect physical and electrical contact. Before sending reading voltage down the bus lines, the ACDP software performs an automated pin-connectivity impedance sweep. If conformal coating, oxidation, or residue causes high resistance on any pin, the software halts execution and flags the poor connection visually. This intelligent detection loop keeps the vital immobiliser and vehicle coding completely safe from corruptive write attempts.
Key Features & Workshop Benefits
Solderless Pre-Processing
Eliminate the risk of board failure when reading the $95128$ and $95256$ EEPROMs. Our secure mechanical clamp and alignment board keep delicate components completely safe.
Intelligent Connection Check
The system scans pin integrity and impedance in real time. It confirms solid electrical contact on all legs before initiating any read/write protocol, protecting your data.
Automatic Mode Matching
Automated software routines match systems effortlessly, making backup, restore, and anti-theft data writing simpler, safer, and faster.

When you buy from us, you receive 100% genuine hardware backed by authorized software activations, official manufacturer warranties, and direct technical support. Our active tuning network, comprising over 800 agents across the UK, trusts us to curate and support robust programming tools that perform under pressure in real-world workshop environments.
💡 Mobile Eco Tuning Pro Tip:
To complete “All Keys Lost” procedures on BMW FEM or BDC platforms, you cannot rely on Module 2 alone. You must also extract the engine control module’s (DME) ISN (Individual Serial Number) security code. To do this, you will need to expand your setup with ACDP Module 3 (ISN Reading). Additionally, when using the interface board clamp, verify that the alignment clip sits perfectly square over the 95128 or 95256 chip. If the board sits unevenly, the pin check will fail. Ensure that the circuit board is clean of all diagnostic conformal lacquer using Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) and a nylon brush before clamping. Note: This module requires the Yanhua ACDP Master Basic Unit to operate.
